ABOUT ME
Constantin Rath (*1998) is a film director, artist and photographer living in Buenos Aires. Born in Buenos Aires (ARG) and raised in the industrial area of Essen (GER), he returned to South America after finishing school. He graduated as a film director from the Universidad del Cine in 2021 and has directed and produced several commercials, music videos and short films, three of which have been selected for international festivals. In addition, his photographs have been published in two books and exhibited at art fairs and galleries in Argentina and Germany.
In 2023, his documentary Vida Veloce was selected for an artistic scholarship at the HFBK (Hamburg) as part of the ASA - Postgraduate Exchange, as well as for the Atelier Ludwigsburg- Paris, organised by the Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg and Femis.
In 2022, he worked for the renowned distribution company CINETREN as a festival sales agent. His responsibilities included the analysis, acquisition and creation of festival circuits for Latin American films by established and emerging auteurs.
